@hotwheelsme No you dont have to wipe the screen off. It dries perfectly clean. Dont comment on something you know nothing about. I have used it myself. Its a brilliant system. Took 3 minutes to do the front of my own house, instead of 15 minutes using ladders

TheGlassCleaners 06.24.10 at 12:56 am

This is the true fact, it is not a waste of time or money to use this method. We have been using it for over 20 years. Pure water does not like to stay pure, and attracts dirt like a microfiber cloth does to water. Have fun climbing those ladders peterwoodings38.

peterwoodings38 06.24.10 at 1:54 am

you carnt do as good a job as if you were at the window yourself a waste of time and money

hotwheelsme 06.24.10 at 2:23 am

15 mins a window and you still have to get up there to get the screen off…..no thanks

reachandwash1 06.24.10 at 3:06 am

no offense intended miss G, sorry
The opening line of the video the reporter says “a man from believes HE’S come up with a system”

The poles he is using-I recognise them they look like “powerpoles” from corress in the USA, (or possibly omnipole in the UK).

They have been superceded by glass fibre and carbon fibre poles, much easier to use and faster to extend with quick release clamps.

Well done to your dad for portraying a professional image of a window cleaner on TV. Sorry for any offense!

rachyg1982 06.24.10 at 3:51 am

since when did he say ‘he invented it’ you fool. this is my dad and thats my home. there are lots of similar companies out there now using this system and all the equipment is bought from america.

reachandwash1 06.24.10 at 4:51 am

Lol look at that system and the rubbish poles he’s using. Must have cost all of ten quid.

I like the way this bloke is taking credit for inventing waterfed poles LOL he can’t even do it properly.

peterpetersnbg 06.24.10 at 5:08 am

there is a better system from east germany called pura clean !!!

my83merc 06.24.10 at 5:57 am

And the birds diet XD

oogolixoo 06.24.10 at 6:31 am

Depends on the brush too. :)

oogolixoo 06.24.10 at 6:36 am

“It leaves loads of excess water”. Oh really?!
Running tap water through it would also clean the dirt off, but then it leaves it’s own mess, minerals and chemicals in the water in the form of white speckles all over the place. Thats were the water purification comes in. ;) The pure water will evapourate leaving no trace if properly used.

jouk45 06.24.10 at 6:38 am

Moofreaky1 06.24.10 at 7:13 am

weeweevanc 06.24.10 at 10:10 am

weeweevanc 06.24.10 at 10:50 am

It does work my dads been a window cleaner for 15 years and hes moved on to this system and it does clean the windows great, some tough bird shit does take abit of getting off but it does come off, so get your self one one much better than the traditional way my dad also cleans conservatory roofs and plastic fasias they come up great too.

agonyuncle 06.24.10 at 11:44 am

agonyuncle 06.24.10 at 12:20 pm

you cant window clean when its icy………..fink about it

gmdinformation 06.24.10 at 12:36 pm

Exactly. And both are nutty expensive. And neither will scrape paint, caulking, mineral deposits, oxidation etc. Don’t throw away your ladders just yet.

smilinggoats 06.24.10 at 1:18 pm

Didn’t tucker pole systems celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, hardly a new concept.

jouk45 06.24.10 at 2:00 pm

there are no streaks or smears,

warrenfromrhyl 06.24.10 at 2:48 pm

what about the streaks

Paul 09.18.10 at 8:43 pm

@ Moofreaky1 “it leaves loads of excess water” – as oogolixoo says “the pure water will evapourate leaving no trace” but there are methods of saving water while cleaning too, taps, triggers, remote controls etc. all help to save water, but they do come with problems.

Aqua-dapterTM is a water fed pole tap designed to overcome the problems these other methods have.

Windows Cleaners who use an Aqua-dapter are able to save water even between windows, or while scrubbing stubborn marks like bird muck. Having saved that water during the day they are able to fit in more jobs, and so make more money!
